The research of the Medical Devices group from INL is focused on the development of technologies for the understanding and diagnosis of diseases. MD works in close collaboration with the clinic to enable translational medical research towards the realisation of precision medicine. To this aim, MD works in the development of new optical instrumentation, microfluidic devices, biosensors and biomimetic systems to study and evaluate disease biomarkers.
