Main Task:

Our main activity will be to identify cells and molecules with immunosuppressive function present within the tumor microenvironment amenable for repolarization by specifically-designed nanosystems. We will study the interaction between several immune cell subsets and the nanoparticles either unloaded or loaded with particular molecules of interest. The aim is to use those nanoparticles to revert the immunosuppressive microenvironment towards immune cell infiltrates with antitumor activity.
